Not very thankful...

So I guess that I am not a very thankful person because obviously I ran out of things to post about! Okay, maybe I am just lazy and don't feel like writing new posts. Haha! Actually I have opened up the window to write a new blog several times, but I just can't think of anything to write so instead I turn over to Facebook and get caught up looking at people's new pictures. :) I love it when people put new albums up (another thing that I am really bad about doing!)

Anyways, right now I am really grateful for Thanksgiving. Today we got to go eat dinner at the fire station! I love firefighters! They are the best! I want to put some pictures up, but I don't have them with me right now, so I'll have to wait until I get home.

Now you can understand why I don't write often... My posts are pretty boring! I'll have to think of something really brilliant to write. So it will be coming soon, just wait! :)

Happy Turkey Day!

Grateful #4

Today - well tonight as I haven't gone to bed yet - I am grateful for the Book of Mormon. I am actually supposed to be reading right now instead of spending time writing this blog, but What the Heck, I'm writing about the scriptures. I think that The Book of Mormon is just amazing. I always have, but it has been a cool experience to have/get to read it for an actual class. I feel like I am learned a lot in the past couple of months that I wasn't really aware of. Just little things that help to strengthen my testimony a lot. I wonder if this is what seminary is supposed to feel like?! I really regret not being a more active seminary participant, but why dwell on the past? It is all about the future! Anyways, I know that The Book of Mormon is true and I am grateful that we are able to have it as a guide in these latter days.

Grateful #3

Since I have not been very grateful the past couple of days, I decided to make up for it be being extra grateful today! So, today I am also grateful for my big sister Stephanie and I love her so much! She has always been a great role model in my life and one of my favoritest people ever to be around. I am really really glad that she has been up here this first semester while I have been at school because I don't think I would make it without her, even if I do have to put up with the monster too and I am not referring to Hero! (Just kidding!) I love Jeff too and I am grateful for all his help during German this semester!
These pictures basically capture all of Stephanie's true beauty so... Enjoy!

Grateful for...

I think Steph and Gina are on to a brilliant idea! I am going to jump on the band wagon and make some posts about what I am grateful for too!

Let's see... Today I am grateful for good movies!

I just got done watching this one and I am absolutely in love with it! :)

Also.. I watched this one last night.
It is nice to be able to relax and step out of your own world for an hour or so. Same thing with a good book, but movies tend to take a little bit less time than reading a book!

Happy Halloween

For a building activity, we went trick-or-treating for canned goods to donate to Salvation Army. It was actually really fun. We were supposed to have a costume contest too, but that didn't end up happening. I totally got into character, as you can see from my quote! This quote was added to our quote wall...

After we gathered a whole three baskets full of can we got hot apple cider! Mmm, delicious!

I'm pretty sure that this is the only picture that we took for actual Halloween... I'll have to check and make sure though. So I was a wicked witch (obviously) and Brittany was Cindy Lou Who (again... obviously)! Haha! Stephanie was kind enough to take us to DI to get our costumes. Actually only Brittany got stuff from DI, my stuff all came from Steph's closet! Even the hat. So awesome, I love that Steph is obsessed with witches! (Speaking of Steph... I have a great idea for a post all about my amazing big sister! :) )
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
